great views and comfy bed
We had made clear it was our Wedding night and surprised in relation to the cost of the hotel not to have had any complimentary extra! Also, the walk in shower was too hot to use, it was scald you so we had to run the bath. The hotel was a little noisy although it was a Saturday night.

I liked the location of the hotel as it was a short distance by bus from Kew Gardens. The room was nicely furnished and was comfortable for our one night stay; I can imagine it being lovely to stay in for a few nights too. The staff were friendly and professional. Though we didn't use the facilities on site they seemed to have a lot of options.
There wasn't anything I disliked except for the price. I would have expected it to be a little cheaper than what I paid.

My stay at The Bingham was perfect. A small, luxurious hotel in a wonderful setting. So nice to get away from the larger chains of hotels. Very well designed and absolutely everything in the bedroom for a perfect stay. Wonderful staff.

Location close enough to the town centre, the public areas and Richmond good pubs. King room with a powerful modern shower tucked away in the en suite, super views, as example.

The decor is superb!!!! It is truly a beautiful hotel.
My room wasn't ready when I arrived, despite my arrival being after 3pm, so I decided to have a cup of tea in the bar whilst I wanted for my room to be prepared. I feel that I shouldn't have been charged for this tea, as I was forced to have it through no fault of my own. What else could I have done whilst waiting? The tea was over £5 with service charge. I have been to other hotels where they welcome you with a complimentary drink - why not at the Bingham? Despite being a beautiful and comfortable hotel, it is not really value for money. I am sad to say I will not be returning as I don't really like feeling "ripped off". What a shame!!!!

Very good service in this stylish hotel. Beautiful setting along the Thames in Richmond, nice room overlooking the river. Excellent restaurant!

Everyone was kind and accommodating. The room was luxurious with a bath tub, a king size bed, as for instance for a memorable stay.

cooking was enterprising and consistently good.
the room was too hot, the air conditioner ineffective, the lowest temperature 16 C. This left no alternative but to turn it off, open the double-glazed windows, resulting in loud traffic noise in this small room facing the main road. Pity, as everything else was lovely.

Extremely friendly staff, and I loved the view over the river Thames. Richmond is a lovely town, we particularly liked Kew Gardens, Richmond Park and Ham House. We took their Theatre Experience for the Saturday night, and the dinner before the theatre was excellent. The Bingham did their very best to give us the Superior River room that we wanted, and when our flight was cancelled when Heathrow was hit by snow, they quickly made us vey welcome for an extra night.
I felt that a good clean of the upholstery and carpets was long overdue. I did not much like the stains. The breakfast buffet was extremely limited, and I had to return my selection of cooked breakfast as it was burnt. The Hotel is popular for particles, weddings and the like - but as soundproofing is very limited, this gives a lot of unwanted noise to the room guests. I was kept awake until almost 1am.

Would recommend for a weekend excursion
Charming hotel, friendly staff, with good room amenities like a tv and a kettle for tea. It's conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the local area attractions.
Nothing all excellent.

Despite some problems with noise on the first night we enjoyed our stay . We were not charged for the first night and moved to a quiter room , staff were great.
The standard room is small.

Staff were very helpful, they upgraded us to a larger room at the back of the hotel as we had asked for a quiet room and front facing rooms were on a busy main road. Lovely bar, stylish rooms.
Would be far too noisy in a room facing the road. Bathroom was very small.

We loved exploring the tranquil garden and took part in classes at the bhuti Yurt, which really nourished our minds. The service was attentive, and the dining options were good, especially the hot breakfast. Just a heads up on food prices-they're a bit high, but it fits with the overall vibe.
